According to the Bavdhan police, the victim has been identified as Sharada Tupsangve, a 29-year-old resident of Karvenagar. The accident took place around 11:30 PM as she was returning home from Bavdhan. Police sub-inspector Sarang Thakare stated that Sharada lost control of her vehicle while heading towards Karvenagar, leading to the crash into the divider.

She sustained severe head injuries in the accident and was immediately rushed to a nearby hospital. Despite medical efforts, she succumbed to her injuries, as confirmed by Thakare. The Bavdhan police have registered a case under sections related to causing death by negligence and rash driving, initiating an investigation into the circumstances surrounding the crash.

Separate Incident: Woman Dies by Suicide in Susgaon

In an unrelated but equally distressing event, a 19-year-old married woman died by suicide in Susgaon on Thursday. Reports indicate that she set herself on fire and jumped from the terrace of her building. She was taken to a hospital but could not survive her injuries.

The Bavdhan police revealed that the woman was allegedly distressed due to harassment from her husband and in-laws. Both the husband and in-laws have been arrested in connection with the case, as authorities look into the matter further. This incident highlights ongoing concerns about domestic issues and mental health in the region.
