The Khadak police, led by senior police inspector Shashikant Chavan, have registered a case under sections 110 (attempt to commit culpable homicide), 189, 190, and 191 (rioting) of the BNS. An officer from the Khadak police stated that this individual is a known criminal on police records, and teams have been deployed to apprehend him.
During the investigation, it was revealed that the magazine of the firearm fell at the scene during the melee.
