Satish Sharma, a resident of Lasudia Mori and a native of Ashok Nagar district, served as a priest at a temple in Lasudia Mori. According to initial reports, he left his home on Monday evening, informing his wife that he was heading to Patnipura to purchase ritual items. When he failed to return by nightfall, his worried relatives launched a frantic search and notified the police. The search ended in tragedy when his car was located in the Mahalaxmi Nagar ground, marking a devastating turn of events for his family.
Police Investigation and Suspicions
Police officials have indicated that they suspect this to be a case of suicide, given the circumstances of the locked car and the recovered firearm. "The priest was found dead inside his car parked in Mahalaxmi Nagar's ground. As the car was locked from inside, initially, it appeared to be a case of suicide. We have recovered an illegal country-made pistol from the car, and we are examining all angles, including potential money disputes or personal affairs," stated additional DCP Rajesh Dandotiya. The body has been sent to MYH for a postmortem examination to determine the exact trajectory of the bullet and the time of death, which could provide further insights into the incident.
