The deceased woman's mother, Shabnam, revealed that her daughter had been married for two years to Imran Ansari, a resident of Raybari Mahuawa village under Chautarwa police station jurisdiction. The young woman had been expecting her first child and had maintained regular contact with her maternal family, speaking with them just two days before the tragic incident unfolded.
Hospital Admission Against Family Wishes
Shabnam stated that she had specifically warned against taking her daughter to the particular private hospital in Ramnagar, which she described as "unreliable" and potentially dangerous. Despite these warnings, the in-laws allegedly admitted the pregnant woman to this facility without informing or consulting the maternal family.
"When we reached the hospital after being informed of her condition, we found only my daughter's lifeless body," Shabnam recounted with evident anguish. "The in-laws had vanished, and the newborn baby was nowhere to be found. We were left completely devastated and confused by this sudden disappearance."
History of Dowry Harassment Allegations
The family has further detailed a pattern of alleged dowry harassment that preceded the tragic incident. According to their account, the in-laws had been persistently demanding a luxury car valued at approximately 20 lakh rupees. Despite facing significant financial constraints, the victim's family managed to arrange for a vehicle worth 10 lakh rupees through substantial loans.
