The operation culminated in the Bakshi Modha bridge area, which falls under the jurisdiction of the Kareli police station.

The arrested man has been identified as Irfan, also known as Potli, a resident of Akbarpur in Kareli, Prayagraj. Upon his arrest, the police conducted a search and made a critical recovery. From his possession, officials seized one illegal .315 bore country-made pistol, two live cartridges, and one spent cartridge. The recovery of the weapon is a crucial piece of evidence in the ongoing investigation.

Confession and Motive Behind the Crime
