Prayagraj Hoax Kidnapping Call Leads to Discovery of Elopement and Temple Marriage
In a dramatic turn of events in Prayagraj, a hoax call about the kidnapping of a 20-year-old woman was received by police in the trans-Yamuna locality on Friday. The incident triggered an intensive police operation, only to reveal that the woman had voluntarily eloped with her boyfriend and married him at a local temple.
Police Response and Investigation
According to police reports, a man approached the Manda police station, alleging that his daughter had been kidnapped by car-borne miscreants. Acting swiftly, the police registered an FIR and mobilized three dedicated teams to track the vehicle and locate the missing woman.
After more than two hours of rigorous investigation and search efforts, the police successfully traced the woman. To their surprise, they found her safe and in the company of her boyfriend. The woman admitted that she had left willingly to be with him.
