The accused, identified as Sujit Kumar alias Shukul, reportedly lured the child to a secluded area near an old brick kiln and sexually assaulted her, leaving her in a critical condition.

According to the victim's mother, the brick kiln is located a short distance from their house, where village children often play. She stated, "Our neighbour, Sujit Kumar alias Shukul, lured my daughter and took her near the kiln, and committed the heinous act. When she became unconscious, he left her there and came to my house, claiming she had fallen into a pit and was injured." This deceptive explanation initially misled the family, but the truth soon emerged.
Immediate Response and Medical Emergency
Family members rushed to the spot upon hearing the news and found the girl lying unconscious and covered in blood. They immediately alerted Dial 112, and locals handed over the accused to the police. With police assistance, the child was taken to the primary health centre and later referred to a higher medical facility for specialized treatment.
The treating doctor provided an update on the girl's condition, saying, "The child's condition is serious. There was excessive bleeding. We are trying to stabilize her. It will take some time.
