Jaipur: An overspeeding car collided with three vehicles in the Vaishali Nagar area of the city on Saturday, dragging one of them for approximately 15 feet, according to police. No injuries were reported in the incident.
The accident occurred around 2:45 pm near the Vaishali Nagar police station. Police stated that the speeding car first struck a vehicle parked on the roadside. Due to the impact, it pushed the parked vehicle forward before crashing into two other vehicles.
A crowd gathered at the scene following the accident. Police arrived after receiving information about the incident. The damaged vehicles were later moved to the roadside to clear traffic congestion.
Preliminary investigation suggests that the accident was caused by brake failure, police said. Further inquiry is underway to determine the exact cause of the mishap.
