Tragic Death of Noida Woman Following Car Crash After Fiance Confrontation

A 26-year-old woman from Delhi, who was seriously injured in a car accident in Noida's Sector 51 following a dispute with her fiance, has died during treatment earlier this week. The victim, identified as Radha Chauhan, a resident of New Kondli, was engaged to Shiva Tyagi since November 26 last year.

Relationship Sours Over Infidelity Allegations

According to a complaint filed by her brother Ajay Chauhan, the relationship between Radha and Tyagi deteriorated after she suspected him of involvement with another woman. On March 30, Radha was informed by Tyagi's mother that he was with another woman at a residence in Sector 73.

When Radha went to confront him, she allegedly found him inside a Baleno car with the woman at the spot. This triggered a heated argument between the two, which soon turned physical. As people started to gather, Tyagi allegedly forcibly made Radha and his friend sit in his car and drove away.

Chase Leads to Fatal Accident

The complainant claimed that a group of unidentified youths began chasing the vehicle in two cars, one of them a Tata Nexon. As they neared the U-turn at Sector 51 metro station, the Nexon allegedly rammed Tyagi's car, causing him to lose control and crash into a road divider.

Ajay Chauhan claimed that Tyagi was intoxicated at the time of the incident. Radha sustained severe injuries in the crash and was initially admitted to a private hospital in Noida before being referred to Safdarjung Hospital in Delhi in critical condition. She tragically died on April 1.

Family Demands Justice, Police Register Case

Radha Chauhan's family has demanded strict action against Tyagi and the unidentified individuals involved in the chase. The Noida police have registered a case under BNS sections 281 (rash driving), 106(1) (causing death by negligence), and 324(4) (mischief).

Police officials stated they would record statements of witnesses and examine CCTV footage from surrounding areas as part of their investigation. The case highlights concerns about road safety and domestic disputes escalating into violent confrontations.

The tragic incident has left the community in shock, with many calling for thorough investigation and justice for the victim. Authorities are working to identify all individuals involved in the chase that preceded the fatal accident.
