A 16-year-old boy was brutally assaulted by three drunk youths inside a paying guest (PG) facility in Mamura, Noida, late Saturday night following a dispute over sharing the room. According to police, the accused beat the minor with wooden sticks and a gas pipe, filmed the entire incident, and forced him to strip naked.
Details of the Incident
The victim, a Class 10 student, had attended a birthday celebration at a friend's house in Gijhore, Sector 53, and later returned to an acquaintance's PG room in Mamura along with two friends. The PG facility is located adjacent to the boy's home. After some time, he fell asleep in the room. Around 2 a.m., one of his friends asked another to drop him home. They latched the door from outside and left.
Taking advantage of the situation, three men barged into the room, gagged the boy, and began assaulting him with a wooden stick and a gas pipe. They also forced him to remove his clothes. Despite the boy's repeated pleas to free him, the attackers continued the assault for nearly 10 minutes. The accused fled only after the boy's friends returned, issuing death threats before leaving. The video of the assault was later circulated on social media platforms.
Police Action and Arrests
Police have identified one of the accused as Krishna (18), who has been arrested. The other two suspects are currently on the run. A senior police officer stated that the minor knew the three men. The victim was provided medical care and is now in stable condition.
The boy's friend recounted the ordeal: “When my friend returned to the PG facility, he heard the boy crying and alerted the police. The boy suffered severe injuries.” A video circulating online shows two men assaulting the disrobed and bleeding minor with a gas pipe and a wooden rod as he begs to be freed.

The victim filed a complaint at the Phase 3 police station. The case has been registered under relevant sections of the Bharatiya Nyaya Sanhita (BNS), including Section 115 (voluntarily causing hurt), Section 351 (criminal intimidation), and Section 352 (intentional insult).
