A brutal attack inside a factory in Neemuch has left the son and nephew of the district panchayat president seriously injured, sparking significant tension in the Sagran village area. The incident occurred at the Gold Crash factory, where a group of men allegedly assaulted two youths and vandalized their vehicle, prompting a swift police response.

According to police reports, Indrajeet Singh, son of district panchayat president Sajjan Singh Chauhan, and his nephew Aditya visited the factory on Friday afternoon. Their purpose was to supervise the unloading of a sand dumper and collect payment. While at the site, they were suddenly attacked by a group of men wielding stones and sticks.
Aditya sustained a serious head injury, while Indrajeet suffered severe injuries to his hand. The assailants also damaged a vehicle belonging to the district panchayat president during the altercation.
Allegations and Background
Chauhan has made serious allegations regarding the attack. He claimed that Mahendra Singh, brother-in-law of Sagran sarpanch Ranidevi, led the assault along with 30 to 35 associates. Chauhan stated that Mahendra Singh and his group have a criminal background and were involved in earlier disputes with the factory management.
The group was previously accused of demanding extortion money from the factory management, leading to a case being registered against them based on a complaint by the management. Chauhan expressed frustration, saying, "If police had taken immediate action in the earlier case, this would not have happened."

Upon receiving information about the attack, Neemuch Cantonment police station in-charge Nilesh Awasthi reached the spot with a force. The injured youths were immediately rushed to the district hospital, where they are currently undergoing treatment. Security was tightened on the hospital premises as a precautionary measure.
