According to the police, the accused, identified as 42-year-old Rajesh Raut, engaged in a heated argument with his 32-year-old brother, Harish Raut. The quarrel, which revolved around a monetary issue, escalated dramatically between 9:30 pm and 10:00 pm.
In a fit of rage, Rajesh reportedly picked up a brick and struck Harish on the head. The blow proved to be fatal, leading to Harish's death. The eldest brother in the family, Nilesh Kale, subsequently filed the formal complaint with the authorities, detailing the sequence of events.
Swift Police Action Leads to Arrest
Immediately after committing the alleged crime, Rajesh fled from the scene in an attempt to evade capture. However, the Nagpur rural police launched a prompt search operation. Their efforts bore fruit in less than three hours.
