The sequence of events unfolded around 7 pm when Hasmukhbhai Shah left his residence for a routine errand. According to police reports, he was suddenly hit by a speeding two-wheeler, whose rider immediately fled the scene without offering any assistance or informing authorities.
The building's security guard promptly alerted the victim's son, Rajesh Shah, a local businessman, who was at home at the time. Upon receiving the call, Rajesh instructed the guard to take his father to the nearest hospital and rushed to Cooper Hospital along with his own son, Priyam.
Medical Treatment and Fatal Outcome
Hasmukhbhai Shah received initial treatment at Cooper Hospital from March 22 to March 23. However, as his condition showed no signs of improvement, he was transferred to a private hospital for further care. Despite medical efforts, the elderly man tragically passed away on March 26, four days after the accident.
