The devastating event occurred in Neeva village, which falls under the jurisdiction of the Banthra police station. The deceased have been identified as Tarawati (52) and her son Sandeep (30). The head of the family, Roop Narayan Chaurasia (55), is currently undergoing intensive treatment at a private hospital located on Kanpur Road, where his condition is described as critical.
How the Tragedy Unfolded
Roop Narayan operated a tea and snacks kiosk in the Kati Bagiya area along Kanpur Road. On Thursday evening, he returned home from work with his wife Tarawati and son Sandeep. Their younger son, Kuldeep (25), who was already at home, went to sleep in the verandah, while the other three retired to a room inside the house.
Around 4 am on Friday, Kuldeep woke up to find the room door open and his father vomiting profusely. Upon entering the room, he discovered his mother and brother lying unconscious. In a state of panic, Kuldeep immediately alerted his uncle, who rushed to the scene. Tragically, both Tarawati and Sandeep were found dead, with froth coming out of their mouths. Roop Narayan was quickly transported to a nearby hospital, and police were notified by the village head.
Police Investigation and Preliminary Findings
Preliminary investigations by authorities point toward a suspected suicide through poison consumption. A note recovered from Sandeep's pocket reportedly stated that the three individuals took this extreme step on their own accord and that no one else should be held responsible for their actions.

They reported that repeated recovery notices had been served to the family.
