A disturbing incident has shaken Kishanganj district in Bihar, where a 16-year-old schoolgirl was allegedly raped by a 28-year-old man named Mohd Mazhar. The crime reportedly occurred on Saturday morning while the victim was on her way to school.

According to the police complaint filed by the girl on Sunday, Mazhar intercepted her near a graveyard. He then forcibly dragged her to a nearby cornfield where he committed the sexual assault. The accused allegedly threatened to destroy the girl's reputation and that of her family if she disclosed the incident to anyone.
The complaint further reveals that Mazhar had initially lured the girl with promises of marriage, adding another layer of manipulation to this already horrific case.

Sunita Kumari, the officer in charge of the women's police station, confirmed that authorities have taken swift action following the family's decision to come forward.
"An FIR has been registered and a thorough investigation has been initiated into this serious matter," stated Kumari. "Our teams are conducting extensive raids across the district to locate and apprehend the accused."
The police are treating this case with utmost seriousness, recognizing both the violent nature of the alleged crime and the subsequent intimidation campaign against the victim's family.
