Hisar: A Class 12 student who left home following a family dispute on May 2 was allegedly gang-raped at a hotel, police said on Sunday. The girl had travelled to Hisar on a Haryana Roadways bus.
Incident Details
At the bus stand, she reportedly met a youth who lured her to a nearby hotel. Police said he first sexually assaulted her and later called a hotel staffer, who also allegedly raped her.
Survivor's Escape
The survivor managed to escape, returned to the bus stand and contacted her family, narrating the incident. Her mother rushed to Hisar and lodged a complaint with the police.
Based on the complaint, police registered a case of gangrape against the two accused and launched an investigation.
Legal Action
Police have registered a case under relevant sections of the Indian Penal Code and are investigating the matter. The accused have been identified and are being questioned.
