In a deeply disturbing incident from Hisar, the Sirsa police have initiated a criminal case against two men and a woman following serious allegations that the two men sexually assaulted two minor sisters inside a car. The victims, who are students in classes IX and X, bravely came forward after enduring prolonged threats and harassment.
How the Assault Unfolded
The chain of events began several months ago when a neighbour's aunt allegedly introduced one of the accused men to the elder sister. This connection, facilitated by the aunt, later turned sinister. The young man used this acquaintance to lure the elder sister to an isolated spot. Unbeknownst to him, the girl had brought her younger sibling along for company.
At the secluded location, the accused man was present with another male accomplice in a car. It is here that the two men allegedly committed the heinous act, raping both sisters. The victims reported that the accused subjected them to terrifying threats of dire consequences to ensure their silence, which effectively muted them with fear for a significant period.
Breaking the Silence and Police Action
Ultimately, overcoming their trauma and fear, the girls confided in their family members about the horrific harassment and sexual assault they had suffered. This disclosure prompted immediate action, leading the family to approach the authorities.
The Sirsa police have registered a formal case and are investigating the matter rigorously. The authorities have constituted a special investigation team (SIT) to handle the sensitive case and have stated that arrests are imminent. Police officials confirmed that the case remains under active investigation, with a commitment to conducting a thorough and impartial probe into all allegations.
A Day of Disturbing Allegations
This alarming case in Hisar came to light on the same day another serious accusation surfaced in the region. In a separate but equally serious incident in Surajkund, a shooting coach has been accused of molestation by one of his trainees, highlighting ongoing concerns about the safety of minors and women.
The twin incidents have cast a shadow, raising urgent questions about safety mechanisms and the need for swift justice in cases of crimes against children and women.
