Gurgaon Man Dies in Tragic Road Accident After Car Rams Motorcycle
A 30-year-old man lost his life in a devastating road accident that occurred in the Farrukhnagar area of Gurgaon on Sunday afternoon. The victim, identified as Govind, a resident of Yakubpur village in Jhajjar district, was riding his motorcycle when a car collided with him, leading to fatal injuries.
Details of the Fatal Collision
The incident took place around 1:50 PM on Sunday near a building material shop. According to a complaint filed by Govind's brother, Neeraj Kumar, Govind was returning from Farrukhnagar when a Swift car with registration number HR55AL2036 approached from the Jhajjar side. The car made a sharp turn towards Jhajjar and violently collided with Govind's motorcycle, causing severe injuries.
Govind was immediately rushed to the Community Health Centre (CHC) in Farrukhnagar for medical attention. Unfortunately, doctors at the health centre declared him dead upon arrival due to the critical nature of his injuries sustained in the crash.
Police Response and Investigation
Police authorities were alerted about the accident after receiving information from CHC Farrukhnagar regarding the death resulting from a road traffic incident. A police team promptly arrived at the hospital to investigate the matter. The family's statement was recorded, and the body was transferred to the mortuary in Gurgaon for a post-mortem examination to determine the exact cause of death.
Neeraj Kumar submitted a formal written complaint at the hospital, urging strict legal action against the driver of the car involved in the accident. Based on this complaint, the Farrukhnagar police have registered a First Information Report (FIR) under Sections 281 for rash driving and 106 for death by negligence under the Bharatiya Nyaya Sanhita (BNS).
