Gorakhpur Minor Kidnapped, Gang-Raped, and Sold to Spa; Police Rescue After Three Weeks

In a shocking incident from Gorakhpur, a 13-year-old girl was allegedly kidnapped, gang-raped, and later sold to a spa center. The police managed to rescue her nearly three weeks after she went missing, taking four accused into custody on Saturday evening.

Details of the Horrific Crime

According to police reports, the minor had been in contact with a minor boy from Shahpur for approximately six months. On January 1, he lured her to a hotel located in the GIDA area. Over the course of three days, he allegedly raped her before abandoning her at the hotel.

Left alone and vulnerable, the hotel owner, Abhai Singh, and the manager, Adarsh Pandey, exploited her situation and sexually assaulted her. The survivor later informed the police that when she fell ill, she was given medicines and then forced into further abuse.

Trafficking and Further Abuse

The hotel staff then allegedly sold her to Ankit, who is the manager of a spa in Bardahlaganj. At the spa, she was subjected to additional rape. As her condition worsened, she was shifted to another hotel in Nausad.

It was at this location that the police eventually traced her on January 22 and successfully rescued her. The girl's mother had approached senior officials, prompting swift action from the authorities.

Police Action and Arrests

Acting on the complaint, the police arrested Singh, Pandey, and Ankit. Later that night, the boyfriend was also detained for questioning. SP City Abhinav Tyagi confirmed the arrests and stated that further legal action is currently underway.

This case highlights the severe vulnerabilities faced by minors and the critical role of prompt police intervention in such heinous crimes.
