Mere minutes later, at approximately 5:56 AM, closed-circuit television footage captured the horrifying moment when the teenager fell from the 16th floor of the building.
The parents immediately raised serious allegations, claiming their daughter had been raped and murdered before being pushed from the height. These allegations formed the basis of their formal complaint to authorities, despite conflicting forensic evidence that would later emerge.

Deputy Commissioner of Police Dhawal Jaiswal provided crucial details about the official investigation. The autopsy report confirmed the cause of death as ante-mortem injuries, meaning the injuries occurred before death, but critically found no evidence of sexual assault on the victim's body. "Nevertheless, acting on the family's formal complaint, we have registered a First Information Report against an unknown person under Section 103 (murder) of the Bharatiya Nyaya Sanhita at the Indirapuram police station," DCP Jaiswal stated, emphasizing the police's commitment to following proper legal procedures despite the contradictory forensic evidence.
