The deceased have been identified as Sangeeta Rathwa, a 7-year-old girl; Savita Rathwa, aged 20; Kalu Parmar, 30; and Jigo Pachaya, an 8-year-old child. All four were declared dead on arrival by doctors at the Botad government hospital, where the injured were rushed for emergency treatment.
Injured Passengers Receiving Medical Care

Complaint Filed Against Truck Driver
A formal complaint has been lodged by Mangar Rathwa, a 30-year-old farm labourer from Chhota Udepur district and the father of the deceased Sangeeta. The complaint targets the truck driver, identified as Gafar Savan from Gondal taluka in Rajkot district.

The offence has been registered under Sections 106(1), 281, and 125(A) of the Bharatiya Nyaya Sanhita (BNS), along with relevant provisions of the Motor Vehicles Act. This legal action underscores the seriousness of the incident and the pursuit of justice for the victims.

According to Rathwa's statement, the group had embarked on their journey from Chhota Udepur around 3 PM on January 31. They were heading to Saurashtra for work when the tragedy struck on the Ranpur–Dhandhuka road at night.
