Police in Gurgaon have arrested four persons following a violent firing incident in Hilalpur village. The clash erupted from an old rivalry tied to a land dispute, causing panic among residents.

Violent Clash Over Land

The incident occurred on January 10 under the Rozka Meo police station area. Two groups clashed over a long-standing land dispute. One group started pelting stones and then opened fire, escalating the situation quickly.

Several rounds were fired during the confrontation. One person sustained a bullet wound in the chaos. Police recovered two country-made pistols and a vehicle used in the incident.

Police Action and Arrests

Rozka Meo police station acted swiftly upon receiving information about the clash. Officers reached the spot to control the situation and disperse the crowd.

Based on a complaint and preliminary investigation, police registered a case. They formed multiple teams to track down the accused individuals.

The complainant, Amit, a resident of Hilalpur village, stated that Charan Singh fired the first shot. He alleged that Charan Singh was joined by relatives Rahul, Rohit, Tejaswi, Vishnu, and others who also opened fire.

Amit submitted evidence to support his claims, including a video of the incident. After investigation, police arrested Charan Singh, Lakhan, Rohit, and Vishnu. All four are residents of Hilalpur village.

Ongoing Investigation

Police said further investigation is underway. Authorities aim to identify and apprehend other persons involved in the clash.

They are also working to verify the source of the illegal weapons used in the incident. The case remains active as police continue their efforts to ensure justice.
