Bengaluru police have registered a First Information Report (FIR) after it was discovered that forged documents were used to register three properties across the city. The accused have been identified as Manjamma, V Ramesh, and V Narayanaswamy, all residents of KR Puram. The case was filed on 26 June 2026 at the local police station.

Details of the Fraud

According to the police, the three individuals allegedly fabricated ownership documents to register three sites located in different parts of Bengaluru. The fraudulent registrations were detected during a routine verification by the sub-registrar's office. The exact locations of the properties have not been disclosed but are believed to be in high-value areas.

Investigation Underway

An investigation has been launched to trace the origin of the fake documents and determine if any government officials were complicit. The police are also examining records to see if the same accused were involved in similar frauds in the past. A senior officer stated, "We are gathering evidence and will question the accused to uncover the full extent of the scam."
