In a significant security operation, Indian security forces have intercepted a cache of weapons suspected to have been delivered by a drone from Pakistan near the International Border in Jammu and Kashmir. A coordinated team comprising the Border Security Force (BSF) and the Special Operations Group (SOG) of the Jammu and Kashmir Police conducted the operation. The search led the teams to the banks of a stream where they discovered a suspicious packet tightly wrapped in yellow tape. Exercising extreme caution, the packet was opened with the assistance of a bomb disposal squad. This led to the recovery of the illicit arms consignment.

The recovered items included:
- Two pistols
- Three magazines
- Sixteen rounds of ammunition
- One grenade
