DCP (Dwarka) Kushal Pal Singh provided details on the operation, stating, "They were trying to mobilise funds under the garb of false narratives related to the incident. About Rs 37 lakh was deposited into the suspect bank account in the past two days. The bank concerned has been informed and asked to freeze the account while the matter is being probed." This highlights the financial scale of the scam, with over Rs 35 lakh raised through fraudulent means.
