The victim, identified as Maniram, a resident of Azad Nagar in Delhi, was traveling with his family to Hathras with a special purpose. According to family members, they were on their way to distribute wedding invitations for his daughter's marriage ceremony scheduled for next month. The accident involved a head-on collision between two vehicles on the busy national highway. Maniram was traveling in a car driven by his 25-year-old son, Tarun Kumar, along with two other relatives. Their vehicle collided with another car coming from the Sadabad direction.
Police investigations revealed that the impact of the collision was so severe that Maniram's car overturned completely. The 45-year-old transporter sustained fatal injuries and was declared dead at the scene. His body has been sent for postmortem examination to determine the exact cause of death.

The three injured individuals, including Maniram's son Tarun, were immediately rushed to the district hospital following the accident. Medical authorities confirmed that all three victims suffered minor injuries and are currently undergoing treatment at the healthcare facility. Chandpa Station House Officer Shyamveer Singh provided details about the police response and subsequent investigation. The driver of the other vehicle involved in the collision fled the scene immediately after the accident, leaving authorities to launch a search operation.
