A Central Reserve Police Force (CRPF) soldier has made a desperate public appeal to Uttar Pradesh Chief Minister Yogi Adityanath, seeking his direct intervention to find his teenage son who has been missing for over three months from their Greater Noida home. The emotional plea, shared widely on social media, highlights a family's anguish and a father's fading hope.
A Father's Desperate Video Appeal
The case involves 15-year-old Aniket Bidhuri, a Class 11 student who resides with his family in Sector Mu One, Greater Noida. According to his family, Aniket left home on September 30 to attend his coaching classes but never returned. After waiting through the night, the worried family launched their own search before formally lodging a missing person's complaint at the Dadri police station the following morning.
The boy's father, Manoj Bidhuri, who serves in the CRPF, released a heart-wrenching video online. In the clip, seen with folded hands, he narrates the family's ordeal and directly appeals to CM Yogi Adityanath for urgent help. "Life has become meaningless without my son. CM is my only hope now," Bidhuri said in the video. He also appealed to Prime Minister Narendra Modi and Home Minister Amit Shah.
Family Tragedy and Police Investigation
The prolonged absence has devastated the Bidhuri family. Manoj Bidhuri revealed that the stress of his grandson's disappearance proved fatal for his own father. "After hearing about his grandson, my father suffered for 22 days until he died of a broken heart on October 22," the CRPF jawan stated, adding that the incident has taken a severe mental toll on everyone.
While the family is distraught, police officials state that investigation efforts are ongoing. A police officer involved in the case provided a potential motive, suggesting the teenager was "reportedly upset over scoring low marks in his examinations" and left home after being scolded by his father. The officer added, "We initially tracked the youngster in Haridwar, but after that, his phone was switched off. Our team also went there, but he had left."
Conflicting Claims Over Search Efforts
There appears to be a disagreement between the family and the police regarding the investigation's progress. The father has claimed that it was the family's own efforts that last traced Aniket to Haridwar, implying a lack of proactive action from the authorities. However, the police have refuted these claims, asserting that they launched search operations immediately after the complaint was registered and have been working on the case.
With three months having passed and no concrete leads, the father's public appeal underscores a growing desperation. The case continues to be investigated by the Dadri police, who are pursuing all available avenues to locate the missing teenager.
