Major Gambling Operation Busted in Chittorgarh's Gandhi Nagar
In a significant crackdown on illegal activities, the Kotwali police station team from Chittorgarh city has successfully apprehended 13 individuals for allegedly participating in organized gambling at a residential property located in the Gandhi Nagar area. The operation resulted in the seizure of substantial evidence, including Rs 75,000 in cash, multiple vehicles, and gambling paraphernalia.
Police Action Following Informer Tip-Off
According to official statements, the raid was initiated after police received credible information from an informer about ongoing gambling activities at a house in Gandhi Nagar. Acting swiftly on this tip, authorities formed a special team under the leadership of Manish Sharma, an RPS probationer, with directives from ASP Chittorgarh Sarita Singh and Kotwali station in-charge Tulsiram.
The targeted location was identified as the residence of Sanjay Teli, where officers observed three scooters and two motorcycles parked conspicuously in the courtyard, raising suspicions of illicit gatherings.

Upon conducting the raid, police discovered the 13 accused actively engaged in gambling within a room on the first floor of the house. In addition to the cash amount of Rs 75,000, authorities confiscated various gambling equipment found in the possession of those arrested. The seized vehicles, which were parked outside, are believed to have been used by the participants to access the gambling den.
