The accused, identified as Arun Kumar, worked as an assistant medical officer at the ESI hospital in Kodambakkam. He was married to Abinaya, also 30 years old, who was employed at a private firm. According to police reports, the couple had a heated argument on February 15th after Arun suspected his wife was communicating with another man.
The following morning, Arun left for work and attempted to contact Abinaya multiple times, but she did not answer his calls. Concerned, he informed her father, who immediately went to check on her. Upon arrival, he found Abinaya unconscious inside their residence and promptly alerted the authorities.
Police Investigation and Legal Proceedings
Police arrived at the scene and recovered Abinaya's body, which was subsequently sent for postmortem examination.
