The subjects, identified as Sridharan Subramaniam, Pratifkumar Selvaraj, and Navindren Raj Cumarason, were intercepted upon their arrival from the United Kingdom at Mumbai International Airport. Immigration authorities denied them entry, setting the stage for a meticulously planned tactical operation.
According to official statements, the trio was wanted by Malaysian authorities for their alleged involvement in organized criminal activities. In response to this request, a specialized escort team from the Royal Malaysia Police arrived in Mumbai on January 25 to take custody of the individuals.
