A tragic late-night collision on a major national highway has resulted in one fatality and multiple injuries. The incident occurred when a speeding truck crashed into a stationary luxury bus on National Highway 48 near Vasad, close to Vadodara.

The unfortunate chain of events began late on Monday night. A luxury bus, traveling from Rajasthan to Mumbai, experienced a mechanical failure and broke down on the highway. While they were standing in front of the bus, disaster struck. A truck, approaching from behind, slammed into the parked bus with tremendous force. The impact was so severe that it violently threw the individuals standing near the front of the bus onto the road.
