In a significant development, the Barwani police have successfully apprehended two individuals involved in a robbery case that targeted a woman in the town. Barwani Superintendent of Police, Jagdish Dabar, addressed the media on Sunday evening, providing crucial insights into the case. The police have taken into custody Vinod Badole, a resident of Indrapur village, and Aslam Saiyyad, who hails from Idgah Mohalla in Barwani. During the operation, authorities managed to seize Rs 16,000 in cash and a two-wheeler from the accused.
However, the search is still underway for two other suspects identified as Anil and Garda, indicating that the investigation remains active and thorough.

The robbery incident occurred on January 20, when the complainant, Durga Aske, an employee of a microfinance company, was returning to Julwania on her scooter. She had just completed her collection duties in the villages of Salkheda, Rozhani, and Indrapur. As she reached a deserted stretch near Indrapur Mohanpura village, two unidentified individuals forcefully snatched her bag.

- A fingerprint verifying machine

Connection to Another Robbery Case
During interrogation, the arrested suspects confessed to their involvement in an additional robbery case that was registered at the Nagalwadi police station. In this separate incident, which also took place on January 20, a poultry businessman named Rais Abbas Khan from Sendhwa was robbed of a bag containing Rs 1.12 lakh on Gavla Ghat road.
Police officials have revealed that Vinod Badole is believed to be the mastermind behind both robberies, orchestrating the crimes along with his associates. This connection highlights a pattern of criminal activity that the police are diligently working to dismantle.
