Noida CEO Withholds Salaries of 8 Officials Over Pending Public Grievances
Noida CEO Stops Salaries Over Delayed Grievance Resolution

In a stern move against administrative delays, the Chief Executive Officer of the Noida Authority, Lokesh M, on Monday ordered the withholding of salaries for eight senior officials. This action was taken due to significant delays in the disposal of public complaints filed through the Integrated Grievance Redressal System (IGRS).

Targeting Departments with Pending Cases

The CEO's directive specifically targeted departments that had more than twelve pending IGRS cases awaiting resolution. Officials stated that despite repeated instructions and reminders, the concerned officers failed to ensure the timely resolution of these critical public grievances. The decision underscores a zero-tolerance policy towards laxity in matters of public interest.

List of Officials Facing Salary Hold

The officials whose salaries have been stopped until further notice include a range of senior department heads. The list comprises:

  • Kranti Shekhar Singh, Officer on Special Duty (Group Housing)
  • Arvind Kumar Singh, Officer on Special Duty (Land Records)
  • AK Arora, General Manager (Civil)
  • SP Singh, General Manager (Health)
  • RP Singh, General Manager (Water)
  • Meena Bhargava, General Manager (Planning)
  • Priya Singh, Assistant General Manager (Industrial)
  • Sanjeev Kumar Bedi, Assistant General Manager (Residential Plots)

Additional Action for Sanitation Lapses

In a related disciplinary action, the salary of a sanitation supervisor, Vivek, was also withheld. This separate penalty was imposed due to poor sanitation work observed on MP-1 road near Sector 4. This indicates that the authority's crackdown extends beyond grievance redressal delays to include on-ground civic maintenance failures.

A Clear Message from the Top

CEO Lokesh M emphasized that any negligence in handling public interest issues, particularly in resolving IGRS complaints, would not be tolerated. The Integrated Grievance Redressal System is a vital platform for citizens to report problems, and delays in its functioning directly impact public trust and service delivery. This move is seen as a strong administrative measure to instill accountability and ensure prompt action on public feedback across all departments of the Noida Authority.
