Police also use the group to circulate alerts, safety messages, and other important updates.
Key Features and Benefits
- Direct and immediate access to police personnel for reporting problems.
- Real-time dissemination of safety alerts and important information.
- Assistance with legal, social, physical, or personal concerns.
- Coordination with surveillance staff and the She Team for women's safety.
Appeal to Senior Citizens and Banks
Inspector Jadeja emphasized that Maninagar has a large population of senior citizens, and this group will help them stay directly connected with the police. He appealed to senior citizens not to trust unknown callers. Additionally, he advised banks to inform the police if an elderly customer appears scared while withdrawing a large sum of money, as a precaution against potential fraud.
This initiative is part of broader efforts to enhance community policing and ensure the safety and well-being of vulnerable groups in the area.
