Mandya district in-charge minister N Cheluvarayaswamy made a compelling appeal to residents on Sunday, urging them to actively engage in initiatives aimed at fostering a cleaner and more progressive district. The minister delivered this message during the inauguration of the "Our Walk Towards Cleanliness–Run for Mandya Marathon" at the Sir M Visvesvaraya District Stadium in Mandya.

In his address, Cheluvarayaswamy acknowledged that Mandya already holds a distinguished reputation across the nation but stressed the necessity for continuous advancement. The minister highlighted recent achievements under the leadership of MLA Ravikumar and the district administration, particularly the successful organization of the Kannada Sahitya Sammelana in Mandya.
