According to JDA authorities, the stretch between JP Phatak and Laxmi Mandir Tiraha on the Tonk Road-bound side is now largely underutilized, leading to gradual encroachment by hawkers from the nearby Lal Kothi Sabji Mandi. In stark contrast, the Bais Godam-bound side frequently suffers from severe traffic jams, exacerbated by vehicles making U-turns from a cut near Sarovar Hotel to access the JP Phatak underpass, creating significant bottlenecks during rush hours.
