Gandhinagar: Chief minister Bhupendra Patel and state BJP president Jagdish Vishwakarma will hold a joint roadshow in eastern Ahmedabad on Friday, the last day of campaigning for the civic body elections.
A party statement said that the roadshow will begin from Shyamshikhar Char Rasta in Bapunagar areas of the city and pass through India Colony Road, Thakkarnagar Approach Char Rasta, Lilanagar, Khodiyarnagar and Beti Bachao Circle before ending at Khodiyar Mandir. The roadshow will begin at 9am, the party said.
Voting for 15 elections of municipal corporations, 84 municipalities, 34 district panchayats and 260 taluka panchayats is scheduled for April 26.
