Proposal and Tender Process Underway
A senior civic official stated, "While we have our own squads that visit construction sites to check compliance with the air pollution guidelines, the third-party agency will specifically audit the sensor-based AQI monitors. This includes assessing sensor locations and ensuring readings accurately reflect site conditions through rigorous testing." The BMC is currently preparing a detailed proposal and will soon float a tender to select the agency, marking a structured approach to improving air quality management in Mumbai.
