Unbeatable Fares and Travel Windows
The airline is offering domestic flight tickets starting at an attractive price of ₹1,950. For those looking to travel abroad, international journeys begin from just ₹5,590. The carrier has also introduced 'no check-in bag' options for even greater savings, with prices starting at ₹1,850 for local routes and ₹5,355 for overseas flights.
These discounted tickets are available for booking across the airline's official website, mobile application, and other online travel platforms. The booking window for this sale is exceptionally long, remaining open until 1 January 2026.
The travel period for the discounted domestic tickets is between 12 January and 10 October 2026. For international flights, the applicable travel dates are from 12 January to 31 October 2026.
Exclusive Perks and Membership Benefits
Air India Express is rolling out several customer-friendly features alongside the sale. The 'Lite' fare option allows passengers to add baggage at a later stage for a fixed cost: ₹1,500 for 15 kg on domestic sectors and ₹2,500 for 20 kg on international routes. In a move to encourage digital adoption, the airline has waived off all booking fees for tickets reserved through its mobile app.
Members booking through the website can avail special benefits, including a 25% discount on Business Class seats. This premium experience comes with extra legroom, complimentary hot meals, increased baggage allowance, and priority check-in facilities.
Tata NeuPass members receive an additional sweetener, with an extra discount of up to ₹250 when booking via the official site or app. The airline highlighted that its modern fleet, including over 40 new Boeing 737-8 aircraft, now features Business Class seats, enhancing the travel experience.
To promote inclusive travel, Air India Express offers special deals and advantages on its digital platforms for students, senior citizens, and defence personnel families. The website also supports flexible payment methods such as monthly instalment plans and 'buy now, pay later' options.
Expanding Footprint: Inauguration from Navi Mumbai
In a related development underscoring its growth, Air India Express commenced operations from the new Navi Mumbai International Airport (NMIA) on 25 December. It was among the first airlines to initiate scheduled services from the newly inaugurated airport on its very first day of commercial operations.
The airline launched direct connectivity from NMIA to key metros like Bengaluru and Delhi. Its inaugural flight from the new airport was destined for Bengaluru. To commemorate the historic start, the first passenger was presented with a special commemorative boarding pass during a ceremony held at the airport.
Commenting on this strategic expansion, Aloke Singh, the Managing Director of Air India Express, termed it a significant milestone. "The start of flights from Navi Mumbai is a milestone for the city and the region. We are happy to be part of this effort in enhancing capacity for Mumbai and the wider Mumbai Metropolitan Region," Singh stated.
He elaborated on the airline's strategy, noting, "Navi Mumbai is a key pillar of our dual-airport strategy, complementing our services from CSMIA, where we operate direct flights to 11 domestic and three international destinations." Singh expressed confidence in NMIA's potential to put Mumbai back on a rapid growth trajectory and promised to scale up operations, offering reliable and value-driven connectivity.
