Noida is set to welcome visitors to its most innovative attraction yet - the Jungle Trail Park, a spectacular creation built entirely from 500 tonnes of discarded iron materials. This unique park will officially open its gates to the public on Monday, showcasing an extraordinary blend of environmental consciousness and artistic creativity.
From Scrap to Spectacle: The Park's Incredible Features
Jungle Trail Park represents a remarkable celebration of reuse and imagination, featuring more than 700 life-sized animal sculptures that represent wildlife from six different continents. Visitors can expect to encounter stunning creations ranging from majestic elephants and powerful tigers to graceful lions, camels, and various exotic bird species.
According to Anand Mohan Singh, Deputy Director (Horticulture) of the Noida Authority, the project will be formally inaugurated by Noida MLA Pankaj Singh. The park has been developed on a public-private partnership model between the Noida Authority and Z-Tech at an estimated cost of Rs 22 crore.
Visitor Experience and Practical Information
The park offers an affordable entry price of Rs 120, with complimentary admission for children under three years of age. Located conveniently near the Mahamaya Flyover, the nearest metro station to access the park is Okhla Bird Sanctuary.
Isha Chaudhary, Vice President of Z-Tech, revealed that Jungle Trail Park will provide multiple recreational facilities including a dedicated kids' area, food court, and boating rides in the water body. The exact opening and closing timings will be announced on Monday during the formal inauguration.
Environmental Impact and Educational Value
This innovative waste to wonder park serves as a powerful statement about sustainable urban development. Officials emphasize that such projects are crucial for growing cities like Noida as they transform industrial waste into creative public spaces while promoting environmental awareness.
The park demonstrates practically how urban waste materials including nuts, bolts, rods, chains, and fuel tanks can be repurposed into beautiful artistic installations instead of ending up in landfills. Divided into four themed zones, the park offers an immersive wildlife experience that educates visitors about recycling and conservation in an engaging, interactive manner.
One of the most exciting features is the night jungle safari experience where illuminated sculptures and ambient lighting create an authentic, lifelike adventure after sunset. This after-dark experience promises to be particularly memorable for visitors of all ages.
The park's development represents a significant step forward in urban planning that combines recreation with environmental education, setting a new standard for sustainable public spaces in Indian cities.
