A shocking incident unfolded at a district hospital in Mathura on Tuesday when an e-rickshaw driver walked in with a live snake in his pocket. The man, identified as Deepak, a 39-year-old local resident, claimed the snake had bitten him the previous day, and he was seeking an anti-venom injection.

A purported video of the event quickly spread on social media, adding to the panic. In the footage, when hospital staff asked about the snake, Deepak is seen calmly pulling the 1.5-foot-long reptile from his jacket pocket. He then placed it back inside, startling everyone around him.
The patient alleged that he had been waiting at the hospital for about 30 minutes without receiving proper care. He complained that no facilities were available to help him promptly.
Hospital Response and Police Action
Chief Medical Superintendent Neeraj Agrawal stated that staff immediately instructed Deepak to remove the snake from the premises. "The patient was told to leave the reptile outside as it was putting the lives of other patients in danger," Agrawal explained.
Authorities later called the police, who arrived and safely rescued the snake. However, Agrawal added a curious detail: "It is suspected that the reptile belonged to Deepak." This raises questions about why he brought it along in the first place.
