DPS Patna East Wins Overall Champion at MATRIX 2026

Patna: Delhi Public School, Patna (East), was crowned the overall champion at the interschool mathematics festival MATRIX 2026 — “The infinity array: Maths beyond limits”, hosted by the school.

International School won the Maths Relay, while Notre Dame Academy secured first position in JAM. DPS Patna East clinched the top spot in KenKen Conquest. Litera Valley School emerged victorious in Brain Blitz, NDA won the Model-Making Exhibition, Radiant International School triumphed in Maths Tales and Trails, and Gyan Niketan claimed first place in Poster Making.

Career Counselling

St Michael’s Alumni Association organised a parent-teacher-cum-career counselling session on the school’s campus to guide Class X students. Two distinguished alumni from the 1988-batch — Amitabh Prasad, joint secretary, ministry of defence, Govt of India, and Dr Manish Mandal, medical superintendent, IGIMS, Patna— guided the students.

Prasad addressed students interested in PCM and economics streams, highlighting the emerging opportunities. Dr Mandal guided students exploring the PCB stream, providing a realistic overview of medical and allied health sciences. Fr A Christu Savarirajan, principal, emphasised the importance of discipline.

Annual Awards Ceremony

Bishop Scott Girls’ School celebrated the Annual Awards Ceremony for the academic session 2025-26, honouring the outstanding achievements of its meritorious students. Wisdom House bagged the trophy for overall performance. Intelligence House secured the ‘best house’ in academics and activities, while Confidence House was awarded ‘best house’ in sports.

Labour Day

St Dominic Savio’s High School, Patna, observed Labour Day with enthusiastic participation from teachers and students. Students presented a short play and a cultural programme dedicated to the workers. Addressing the gathering, director GJ Galstaun emphasised the importance of workers, stating that no person or institution can achieve its goals without the dedicated efforts of its workers.
