The much-anticipated teaser of Alia Bhatt's upcoming film 'Alpha' was released online on Wednesday. The short glimpse showcased the actress embracing her action avatar in the first female-led film of the spy universe backed by Aditya Chopra. Soon after, Shah Rukh Khan praised the teaser on his social media. Following SRK, Priyanka Chopra, Katrina Kaif, and Vicky Kaushal also hailed it on their respective Instagram accounts.

Katrina Kaif took to her Instagram Stories to express her excitement for the film. Sharing the teaser on her Story, she wrote, "My dearest @aliabhatt @sharvari, this is looking fire. Can't wait to see this… Full action mode… bring it on."
On Wednesday night, Priyanka Chopra shared the teaser on her IG Stories with the caption, "Ready for your game @aliabhatt @iambobbydeol @sharvari. Go #Alpha!"
Meanwhile, Vicky Kaushal posted, "ALPHA BHATT looks badass. Feels insane. Bobby sir, love this version of you. Can't wait for more to unfold. Best wishes team!"

The film marks a new phase in the spy universe backed by Aditya Chopra. Alia will be seen playing an agent, for which she has been trained by her father, Bobby Deol, in the movie. However, the teaser did not showcase any glimpse of Sharvari, which left some internet users disappointed.
The synopsis of the action adventure under the teaser read: "Welcome to the newest chapter of the YRF Spy Universe that presents an edgy origin story of a girl raised and built to kill. Alpha is a female-led action film that will take you on a fun, edge-of-your-seat, thrilling ride that is designed as an out-and-out entertainer."
As per the description, the story of the movie has been written by Uday Chopra. This soon became a topic of discussion online. Apart from Alia, the movie also features Sharvari, Anil Kapoor, and Bobby Deol. Directed by Shiv Rawail, the film is slated to hit theatres on July 3, 2026.
