Kochi police have received a complaint against a social media influencer and reality show contestant for allegedly sexually exploiting and cheating a woman. According to sources, a Kochi-based woman filed the complaint with Palarivattom police.
Allegations of Financial Fraud
The allegation is that the man cheated her of over Rs 50 lakh by pretending to be in a romantic relationship with her. Police sources said that an FIR would be registered after preliminary enquiries.
Details of the Relationship
The woman alleged that she met the celebrity through social media, which later led to a live-in relationship that began in August 2024. Her claim is that he allegedly made her pay money citing various reasons.
Evidence Submitted
The complainant submitted social media records, bank statements and voice recordings along with the complaint, said an official.
Previous Allegations
Sources said that the celebrity earlier faced similar allegations, leading to Chandera police in Kasaragod registering a case.
