Harry and Meghan Did Not Trademark Children's Names

Prince Harry and Meghan Markle have been married for several years and share two children, Prince Archie and Princess Lilibet. Recent online reports claimed the royal couple applied for trademarks on their children's names, but the latest reports indicate otherwise.

No Trademarks for Archie and Lilibet

According to a report by PEOPLE, the Duke and Duchess of Sussex have not applied for any trademarks for their children's names. The rumors emerged after Meghan Markle announced that her lifestyle company would release a Mother's Day special collection with a dedication to her children.

The collection includes two candles: Signature Candle No. 506 and Signature Candle No. 604, named in honor of their children's birthdates. Prince Archie was born on May 6, while Princess Lilibet was born on June 4. The official description reads: "Introducing two new candles beautifully crafted by our founder and named in honor of her children's birthdates. No. 604 named for Princess Lilibet's birthdate, is floral and radiant with notes of amber, water lily, and santal. No. 506, named for Prince Archie's birthdate, is warm and grounding with notes of ginger, neroli, and cashmere."
