The artist, whose real name is Belcalis Marlenis Almanzar, took to social media platform X to address what she called days of excessive negativity.
"Y'all Need to Calm Down": Cardi's Direct Message
In a candid video message, Cardi B directly addressed the backlash that erupted after she spent the Christmas holiday without Diggs. "Y'all need to calm down," she stated firmly. She expressed frustration at being targeted online for several days, noting, "Y'all been dragging me for three or four days and y'all been a little bit too mean." The rapper emphasized that dwelling on the past is futile, declaring her focus is on moving forward. "I can't change... I can't go back in time. The only thing I can do is go forward now," she explained.
