A woman has filed a police complaint against actor and former Bigg Boss Malayalam contestant Shiyas Kareem, accusing him of sexual and financial exploitation. According to the complaint lodged at the Palarivattom police station in Kochi, the actor allegedly extorted Rs 49 lakhs from the complainant by threatening to release her nude images.
Evidence Submitted
The woman has reportedly submitted Instagram chats, voice recordings, and bank transaction records as evidence to support her allegations.
Shiyas Kareem's Response
In response to the allegations, Shiyas has denied any wrongdoing. He claimed that the woman had borrowed money from him and threatened to implicate him in a case when he sought repayment. The actor also stated that he had filed a complaint regarding this matter at the Perumbavoor police station, and an inquiry is underway.
Previous Complaints
Earlier, Shiyas was arrested following a similar complaint from another woman, who accused him of sexual assault and financial cheating. He was taken into custody at the Chennai Airport.
