Even after decades in the industry, the idea of Aamir Khan and Shah Rukh Khan sharing screen space remains a dream for fans — one that, as Aamir admits, hasn't materialised yet. Speaking in a recent interaction, Aamir addressed the long-standing anticipation around a collaboration with Shah Rukh.
'I would love to do a film with Shah Rukh'
“I think I would love to do a film with Shah Rukh. He is a fantastic actor and the kind of charm he brings... he is someone who really connects very deeply with an audience. He is also a very good artist,” Aamir told Radio Nasha. The actor revealed that the two have discussed the possibility of working together — but are waiting for the right script. “Whenever we get a good story, we would definitely like to do it. Shah Rukh and Salman have worked together. Salman and I have worked together. But Shah Rukh and I haven't,” Aamir shared.
'We should do a film for our audience'
Interestingly, Aamir also spoke about the idea of bringing all three Khans together on screen — himself, Shah Rukh, and Salman Khan. “I even told him about a year ago — we were sitting together and I said, for our audience, the three of us should do a film together,” he revealed. Highlighting the scale such a project could achieve, Aamir added, “We don't know how big it will be, that's a different matter, but I think we will have fun working together and the audience will also enjoy watching the three of us together.” He concluded on a hopeful note, saying, “So I think, let's hope that happens.”
The possibility of a film featuring all three Khans has excited fans for years. While Salman Khan and Shah Rukh Khan have appeared together in films like Karan Arjun and Hum Tumhare Hain Sanam, and Aamir and Salman shared screen space in Andaz Apna Apna, a collaboration between Aamir and Shah Rukh remains elusive. Aamir's recent comments have reignited hope among moviegoers who eagerly await this dream project.
