Influencer Orry Fails to Appear Before Mumbai Police in High-Profile Drug Case

Social media influencer Orhan Awatramani, widely known as Orry, did not appear before the Mumbai police on Thursday morning as scheduled in connection with a massive Rs 252-crore drug investigation. The influencer was supposed to present himself at 10 am to record his statement regarding his alleged involvement with an international drug cartel.

Dubai Deportation Reveals Bollywood Drug Connections

The summons was issued by the Anti-Narcotics Cell of Mumbai police following crucial disclosures made by Mohammed Salim Shaikh, who goes by the alias Lavish. Lavish was recently deported from Dubai where he was detained in connection with multiple narcotics cases.

During interrogation, Lavish revealed that their drug network was headed by fugitive Salim Dola and involved several Bollywood celebrities attending drug-fueled parties. The accused specifically named Orry as one of the individuals connected to their operations.

"We have called him to record his statement in connection with the allegations. Depending on what evidence is found, the future course of action will be decided," stated an official involved in the investigation.

Previous Legal Troubles for the Influencer

This isn't the first time Orry has found himself in legal trouble. In March, the Jammu and Kashmir Police registered a case against him for allegedly consuming alcohol in Katra town, which serves as the base camp for pilgrims visiting the Mata Vaishno Devi shrine in the Trikuta Hills.

The incident came to public attention after photographs went viral on social media, causing significant outrage among local residents. By the time law enforcement authorities initiated action, the influencer had already checked out of his hotel and left the town, according to sources familiar with the matter.

The current drug case represents a more serious legal challenge for the social media personality, with authorities determined to uncover the truth behind the alleged Rs 252-crore narcotics operation and its connections to Bollywood's party circuit.
