Mahto is eligible for appointment as an assistant teacher for classes 1 to 5 in government schools, yet the commission has failed to publish the final results despite completing the verification process for him and numerous other candidates.

During the proceedings, Justice Sen pointedly questioned, "Why are all successful candidates' results not being published at once?" Shocking statistics were presented during the hearing, revealing the scale of the issue. There are approximately 11,000 vacancies for assistant teachers in the class 1 to 5 category across Jharkhand. However, only 4,333 candidates have been declared successful so far, leaving a significant gap. Furthermore, the commission has yet to release the results of an additional 3,500 candidates who appeared in the examination, exacerbating the backlog and uncertainty.
